Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about CaddieVision™, the first release and launch plans.
Do I need a subscription to use CaddieVision™?
No. You can use the glasses on the range with no subscription fees. They help steady your setup and show you the correct ball placement for the clubs you use. Future features that rely on GPS positioning, such as Rangefinder Mode, are planned as paid subscription features.
What does the first release do?
The first release focuses on getting your setup right: club selection, stance guidance and ball position guidance, delivered with vibration feedback and spoken audio prompts. Everything else you see described on this site, such as rangefinder distances, shot capture and putting heatmaps, is on our roadmap and still in development.
How long does the battery last?
With battery management, they last 4 to 5 hours on a full charge.
Can more than one player use the same pair?
At this time, one player’s profile can be logged into the glasses at a time.
Can I use them in bright sun?
Yes. The glasses are designed with an attachment that adds a shade element.
Will prescription lenses be available?
Prescription lenses are planned as an upgrade option. We will announce details to reservation holders and backers first.
Can I use CaddieVision™ in tournaments?
We are designing a Tournament Mode that turns off the features the USGA does not allow while keeping GPS distance and club tracking active, much like turning off slope on a rangefinder. It is on our roadmap.
When will CaddieVision™ launch and where will it ship?
We are planning to launch in early 2027. We plan to ship to the USA, Canada and Mexico.
How do reservations work?
A reservation holds your place in line for the first production run. Online reservations are being relaunched, so email us and we will add you to the list. Details are on the reservations page.
